Small 9 volt power supply keeps cell phones going after battery dies

Talk up to one hour by connecting hand-held key chain power supply and simple 9 volt battery.

You are on your cell phone, at last talking with the company CEO who can approve the big sale. Just as she says "let's place the order," your cell phone battery goes dead.

"If you have the 9 Volt Charger, all you do is connect it to your phone, snap on a 9 volt battery, and you're talking again for up to one hour," says Joy Porter of 9VoltPower.com.

The charger is small enough to fit on a key chain. It snaps onto the power port of your cell phone, connecting it to any common 9 volt battery. Keep a couple of 9 volt batteries in your car, purse, or briefcase and you never have to worry about getting disconnected by a dying cell phone battery.

While most of 9VoltPower.com's customers use the device to ensure everyday business and personal calls, some see it as a way to be prepared in the event of a disaster. "When New York was struck by terrorists on 9/11, we saw the phone system go down. Thousands of people turned to their cell phones to reach family and call for help. In those times you can't afford to have your cell phone go dead," Porter said.
