AutoXray and Midtronics launch battery tester for scan tools at AAPEX

AutoXray and Midtronics today, at the Automotive Aftermarket Product Expo trade show, announced the launch of the new AutoXray EZ-Charge Check line of battery conductance testers designed specifically for use with the new EZ-Scan line of diagnostic scan tools. AutoXray, the leading provider of cost-effective automotive diagnostic scanners, and Midtronics, the leader in battery management technology, combined their patented technologies and creative abilities to produce the first products in a new line of accessories to expand the functionality and capability of the EZ-Scan line.

The EZ-Charge Check offers the same core benefits of other Midtronics battery testers while offering additional capabilities based on the EZ-Scan platform and display. The basic model, the EZ-Charge Check 100, is a simple battery conductance tester with voltmeter functionality. Using conductance technology, the EZ-Charge Check 100 makes battery testing safe, fast and simple, and helps users find weak batteries before they fail. The EZ-Charge Check 200 adds additional test capabilities, including voltmeter functionality for capturing low voltage when starting and high voltage readings for testing the charging system.
