Compaq strengthens Evo notebook lineup with new aggressively priced models
Providing business customers with a broad array of mobile computing products and solutions at aggressive price points, Compaq Computer Corporation today introduced two new Evo Notebooks designed to meet the mobile needs of customers from small and medium businesses to large corporate environments.
The new Evo Notebook N200 and Evo N160, combined with technology enhancements to the existing Evo N600c, compliment the existing Evo notebook line by delivering outstanding value while building on the strengths of Evo notebook products—design, performance and innovation.
The Compaq N200 sets a new standard for mobility by delivering an aggressive, lightweight and affordable design with enough battery life to make it through an entire workday without recharging, while the Evo Notebook N160 packs all the technology and performance features integral to everyday business into an affordable, thin and light notebook priced at $1,399.
"The new Compaq Evo N200 is the smallest and lightest notebook in its class," said Kevin Frost, vice president of marketing, Compaq Computer Corporation's Access Business Group. "It offers business executives the ultimate mobile computer."
