No-smell, no-noise boast, and no porkie for Litter Hog
A battery-powered litter vac which is quieter than petrol-driven machines, is more environmentally friendly, easier to maintain - and doesn’t give off harmful fumes - has been launched by Walter-Broadley Machines.
The Challenger Litter Hog uses three 12-volt batteries to power a five-horsepower electric motor, so it doesn't give out any harmful emissions. Its high performance rivals that of conventional litter vacs but it is much quieter - 68 decibels at one metre compared to a petrol machine’s 95 decibels.
Steve Broadley, Walter-Broadley’s marketing director said “The proximity of residential areas to supermarkets and retail outlets precludes the use of noisy petrol machines at certain hours. The Challenger Litter Hog is so much quieter that it can be used at any time. It will be of particular interest to cleaners operating in public areas."
The Litter Hog’s superior impeller and motor design means it has excellent suction to clear debris such as cans, leaves and paper. It can be used outside and inside on rough or smooth surfaces and is therefore ideal for car parks, precincts, roadways, shopping malls, footpaths, exhibition halls and parks.
